The monochrome look is still very popular amongst interior designers and fabric and wallpaper suppliers and is set to be a key trend for 2022-2023. We’ve seen all manner of colour variations from warm neutrals to bold blues and vibrant greens in recent publications. We favour the classic black-Ivory pallet as these timeless, elegant shades will remain stylish after the trend has passed - the addition of brass accents enriches the scheme and adds warmth and sparkle. When designing with a monochrome pallet we advise using a variety of tactile textures such as wool, velvet, bouclé and silk and choosing boldly patterned accessories to add punch, depth and visual interest.
