Special Occasions
Furnishing smaller interiors and accommodating extra guests can sometimes be a challenge in terms of seating. Occasional chairs are versatile and multi-functional; many of our designs can be used for lounge and dining seating. We have many options available; some with arms (which serve well as smaller armchairs) some with swivel bases, some with distinctive sculptural bases.
Design notes
Occasional chairs are often more compact than traditional armchairs but we believe that small should be beautiful. Our Cascade Swivel chair is a fine example; this popular design has a small footprint but a big character - featuring a spectacular sculptural metal frame and streamlined Art Deco styling. The Margonia Tub Chair is another notable model; this skilfully tailored design features deep buttoning and precise pinch pleat detailing. It is available in a variety of useful colours, perfect for uplifting a dull corner.
Setting the scene
Following on the theme of versatility you may wish to consider our Alhambra Nesting Tables, these two-tier tables can be used separately or neatly tucked away when not required; they are part of a collection including the Alhambra Console table and the Alhambra Coffee Table. All items are available in either brass or silver finishes and feature beautiful marble surfaces.
